LTP Integration has delivered an impressive handrail lighting scheme to the new Broomhall Way Footbridge in Worcester.
The new structure, which was lifted into place by civil engineers Alun Griffiths (Contractors) Ltd, spans Worcester’s Southern Link Road (A4440).
Working in conjunction with Briton Fabricators, LTP Integration supplied and installed 320 Pictor 4 LED handrail luminaires to the steps, ramps and bridge.
The lights are controlled via LED drivers that are contained within three dedicated stainless steel driver enclosures located within the bridge railings. A separate pair of drivers are positioned within a feeder pillar.
Broomhall Way Footbridge now provides a safe connection for pedestrians and cyclists between Power Park in St Peter’s to the north and the commercial and housing development to the south.
