Lighting Technology Projects has been invited back to the award winning Strand East Tower to agree a Service Level Agreement (SLA).
LTP played an integral role in the striking illumination of the 130ft structure in Stratford, east London. Devised by Inter-Ikea’s property division LandProp, LTP worked alongside Hoare Lea Lighting, Landprop and Traxon Technologies to provide the stunning energy-efficient, colour change lighting scheme.
It was awarded the Special Projects award at the Lighting Design Awards 2013 held at London Hilton. The LDAs are widely recognised as the biggest and most prestigious architectural lighting competition in the world.
Speaking following the completion of the project, LandProp Project Manager Valli van Zijl said: “LTP and the team have provided us with a sustainable, energy-efficient solution that complements the ethos of the new development – they have been a pleasure to work with.”
Now LTP will continue to support the ongoing success of this installation with an SLA which covers proactive and reactive maintenance, ensuring each component of the tower’s illumination remains in optimum working order, and that the structure continues to shine bright on the Stratford skyline for many more years to come.
