The hospitality venue, which boasts 32 meeting rooms and 630 bedrooms, has won 26 awards for excellence and is Novotel’s UK flagship property. They approached LTP Integration following an earlier successful project at The Waldorf Hilton in Covent Garden.
This scheme involved integrating new Philips product to replace the Tivoli lighting across the ceiling space of the Champagne Suite and its adjoining pre-function area.
LTP Integration delivered an energy-efficient, colour-changing feature within the 18,578 sq. ft. space, with the solid-state solution allowing staff to offer a colour themed ceiling for conferences, parties and private functions.
The system comprises of 5000 iColor Flex LMX RGB strings, controlled via nine sPDS480 LED drivers, with each individual strand consisting of 50 individually addressable LED nodes.
A Pharos TPC touchscreen graphic user interface (GUI), programmed by Philips, offers a user-friendly colour palette.
Dimming systems were also replaced for all function rooms; with an Anytronics solution and Traxon TR6 glass fronted touch panels provided.
The new LED lighting at Novotel London West can be operated from an iPad or other tablet device, and has assisted significantly in cutting energy costs at this renowned hospitality venue.
